What is the meeting room policy?

Who can use library meeting rooms?

Answer

Each library within the Brazoria County system has a different meeting room use policy. Please check the links below for the policy at your branch.

In general:

  • the primary purpose of the library meeting rooms is for library-related programs and events. Library programs take preference,
  • rooms are reserved on a first come, first served basis,
  • library meeting rooms may not be used for solicitation or conducting business (buying/selling goods or services),
  • events/meetings must be open to anyone
  • use of a room does not constitute endorsement by the library or by Brazoria County,
  • the library reserves the right to cancel or reschedule room bookings.
